Default A first for me on the caney today

On our way home from the mountains of East Tennessee, decided to stop at Caney and fish for a couple of hours.Caught 20 and half were either Browns or Brooks. One Brown measured right at 17".
But the thing that happened and almost cause me a heart attack was on the very first RB i caught. While reeling in and just as I was getting ready to net,a Brown that looked to be at least 2 1/2 ' long was about ready to attack the RB.
The way it was going after the RB I had on the line I was surprised the Brown did not hit me.I regrouped and checked things out and all was okay.Just shaken a little.

I fished at the swimming hole in Townsend where you turn right and go to Cades Cove or left toward Gatlinburg.
caught some very nice Rainbows.
