Thumbs up old hickory lake fishing report 10/10/2013

It was a real nice day to go fishing, no wind and lots of sun. The bite was slow where I had went but I did catch some fish by trolling and casting the #5 shad rap in black & silver. My morning started with a 22" catfish trolling out of the cove near the ramp. Then I caught a drum trolling up near the duck blind and a small LM bass in behind the islands. Then I went back to the cove and caught two more LM bass and then called it a day,so till then next time out ...............woody

Thumbs up

Nice that the fish are biting, I have been thinking about launching at OH Beach (not sure if it's safe nowdays) and working that section Friday night
I used to launch at Rockland Creek but now live in Hermitage .

I like Bass fishing till the sun sets then looking for white bass after the sun sets so if ya see a boat over the little hump area I told you about it will be me after dark.

So save me a few.
