Default Stones float this afternoon - 4-dark.

Hey all,
I am going out to the Stones this afternoon after work at 4PM.
Joey might be going with me, and a buddy from my pool league might be coming.
We are launching from the Lakeshore Ramp.

We are going to fish til 7 or so.
I want to go toward the mouth of the Cumberland and try it out.

I know a few of you said you wanted to try it out so if anyone wants to join just let me know.

If my wife didn't have a show tonight, I would be there in a sec! Good luck!

Thanks Jeremy and Mike. We will have to do it again some time.

Joey cant make it and my pool teammate cant either, so i will have to go catch all the fish myself!

Hopefully i will have some photos to post!

I paddled to the mouth of the Cumberland and fished the edges for a bit and then drifted in and fished back to the ramp.

Not a bite!!

The Mosquitos were horrible last night and I forgot bug spray.

I quit around 6:30 and there we people fishing on the ramp. It was a little sketchy leaving my boat and gear down there and having to walk to the truck but it worked out.

I think I like the skinnier water out of kohls better.

I've never had much luck around the mouth where it meets the Cumberland, but I haven't fished it much on low water either.

The Crappie fishing should be firing up right where you mentioned. I'm shocked you didn't catch anything.

If it makes u feel any better - I tried the Stones mouth in the morning yesterday from the bank 7.30a - 9a had zero bites...the mosquitos didnt get me but there must have been thousands of those tiny little white lint bugs coming out of the tree I was under...
