Default catfish are biting in Drakes Creek

Last weekend and this Friday My daughter, Salty and I hit it early morning with the Catfish noodles and have done pretty well. We caught a few other fish in the process and even a white bass and turtle on the noodles which was a first. we setup on the edge of the main creek channel and the cove and we got 9 cats last weekend and 11 this Friday. Bait of choice on the noodles was kingfish and mackerel.

I dont know if you use them or not or if they are even any good, but the walmart in Dickson was clearancing out thier foam-looking catfish noodles today......they had about a dozen. Since it was clearance i didnt see a price displayed, but if they are decent, might be worth a call to ask the price.
Nice looking fish...i love catching cats!
