I fished there saturday night and caught a bass on a plastic worm, tons of small bluegill on crickets, and a 3 pound catfish on a cricket. There is not a whole lot of area to fish from the bank there. Just right around the boat ramp.

I fish the bank there after work in the evenings. In the spring and early summer the Crappie stack up around the rocky banks. Purple Crappie magnet is a great lure there twitched under float to the right of the ramp.

Are you going to be staying at the campground?

If so its first come first serve..so keep that in mind. We drove down last October for a family camp on a random weekend and it was full. It wouldn't have stunk so bad except for we then drove to Rock Island (full) and finally ended up at Bledsoe Creek which is only 30 min from the house after being in the car over 6hrs with a 2 & 4 year old.

Fun times.

Are you talking Fall Creek on JPP?
