Does anyone know of a top water bait that is 2-2.5 inches long yet weighs between 1/4 and 3/8 ounce?

The only thing I can think of at the moment is the Heddon Torpedo. They come in two sizes: 1 7/8" (1/4 oz.) and 2 1/2" (according to BPS website, they come in 1/4 oz and 3/8 oz). I remember a small lake back in Wisconsin I used to fish when I was a kid, I'd not only catch bass with this bait, but many times the bluegills would slam them as well.

Thanks...will pick some up this weekend. I fish a place that I need that extra weight to cast to a drop off from the bank....yet I wanted to keep as small a profile as possible.

The Pop'n Image jr is 2 3/4" and weighs 5/16 oz and the Baby Lucky 13 is 2 5/8" and weighs 3/8 oz. They are a bit bigger, but have good popping action and will cast great. I like the torpedoes, too, these are just a different option.

Pop R's have a 2 1/2" that's 1/4oz, Chug Bug has one that is the same, Strike Kings Spit-n-king is same length but 3/8oz.

The old jitterbug has a 2" that is 1/4 oz. Don't know if the colors are what you're looking for though.
