old hickory lake fishing report 7/28/2013
Great day for bluegills bad day for bass. I had lots of fun catching bluegills today on spinner bait and more fun on a fluke like grub that is 1" on a 1/32oz jig under a float about 24" and working the shore line. I also caught two small bass and lost one at the boat on that grub. I tried everything else that I had for some bigger bass with no luck I even worked the bottom from 2' to the main channel nothing and the fish were there. That cold snap turn most of the bass off, but they will be back soon as it warms back up....................woody
