Default Kayak fishing in the Nashville area

Is someone really in the know on good kayaking spots in be Nashville area. I have a Lifetime Sport Fisher and I've been only going to Couchville Lake... And not catching any fish.

I'd like to find some new spots that I can get in and out of without help...

Smith Springs ramp on Percy Priest is my favorite spot for kayak bass fishing. Every access area on that lake is easily accessable with a kayak.

I'm with you guys. I'd love to take my Ride 115 to some new territory. I fish Bledsoe and goose creek mostly. Have not had much luck this year.

Woodlawn Lake at Montgomery Bell Park has some nice bass. Locate the creekbed that runs from the dam to the boatdocks on the west fork. Depth is about 14 feet and it is loaded with big bass going down as far as they can in the heat.

They are slow and won't move for anything but large plastics, 10 inch worms seem to work for me.

They unlock the gate at 7:00 AM.

Good luck
