Yes...long nose gar. Usually don't catch them on a jig.
I've had them hit spinnerbaits, flukes and other minnow imitators but never a jig.

Thank you. All caught wet wading. The old, old girl was 19"...hard to tell that in the photo. You can just tell at her color that she has been in that river for a while.
All fish were released.
