Default KY lake 7/01/13

I wanted to see what the lake looked like at summer pool. Every time I went this spring it seemed like the level had changed. Anyway headed that way with not a lot of thought in catching many fish as I am fishing my float tube so I don't venture to far out. What a surprise I happen to run into a gentleman that gave me some great advice on fishing the lake this spring Well he did me one better today he gave me one of his lures and said "try this". I caught 5 keepers (0ver 15 ") lost 2 more and lost count of how many I caught. What a great day if I knew how to post pictures I would do so. I caught these fish in about 3-4 feet of water with some kind of grass growing almost to the top..Heres the fun part all these fish were TOP water on a lure called yellow magic. If I haven't met the nicest fisherman on the planet !! Have lived here 3 years now and the fishing is outstanding if you are a native Tennesseen believe me you are spoiled, the fishing isn't this good everywhere . Babbled enough ,wish I could have made it to the gathering but had to work. May your rod stay bent !

Good stuff right there! Great to hear you caught fish and better to hear about the Good Samaritan you met!
