Default Pickwick 07-01-2013

Fished Pickwick for about 2 hours this morning. The weather was really nice. Kept thinking I had to worry about pop up storms but all I had to worry about was snakes....they were out and about.....I guess because it wasn't 100 degrees in those rocks they came out to play also. They were just banded water snakes but they would come to me when I would hook a fish and reel it in. Caught about a dozen large mouth. The biggest was 15 inches and the smallest was 13.5 inches. Found some Gills and even though they were not the size I would hope to catch they were fun....got 20 of those and came home.
Going to fish hard the next two days as the 4th is coming up and I don't want to be anywhere near a fishing hole this weekend. Don't know where I will be fishing as it looks like Center Hill and area had quite a bit of lightning today....but will get out somewhere.

Regards
