Default Wolf Creek Dam questions

With the dam repairs complete I was thinking about starting to fish the Cumberland River below Wolf Creek dam as I have heard there are some good trout up there. Any one have any experience or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

John Williams District Fishery Biologist (606- 549-1332) that covers the Cumberland River, he should be able to give you some good info on electrofishing surveys and stockings. I know the Dept. is doing some "extra" stocking to "jump start" the trout back to the trophy river that it once was. Ky Fish and Wildlife has a facebook page and I saw a couple of "big" walleye caught from this area last week. I know you are probably looking for "first hand" info from fisherman but maybe this will help. I have been wondering the same thing as you have about the fishery. Been two years since I fish it
