First day out on the lake in almost two weeks. The water is still very high which is keeping me out of alot of the normal areas I fish. The snakes are out in numbers though so be extra vigilant while treading to through the woods close to the shoreline.

Due to the limited time I had yesterday me and the wife went to a an area I fish alone but after seeing 3 snakes she became a little skiddish so we moved to a heavily fished area that was pretty crowded. A lot of the anglers there were talking about how tough it was and how slow the bite was today. I rigged up the wife with mill worm trout magnet and a bobber and I through the mill worm/gold with the twitch method. In two hours we caught 14 gills and several shell crackers and I pulled this large mouth out just before we left.

Productive day.

I don't blame her on the Snake thing.

Sent from my Droid Bionic complete with typos and sarcasm.
