Default Gameday rods

The other day I bought a game day rod from academy. It was on sale 50 percent off at $19.99. It is very light, and it seems like a good rod. Has anyone else used these?

I have several of their H2O rods and I think they are a great value for the money. Academy runs the greatest rod sale every year in the early spring, the Rod Riot, and you can get some screaming deals.

I saw the add for them in the weekly catalog, but when I went to the store I couldn't find them anywhere. So I just grabbed a berkley cherrywood and left.

I saw the berkley cherrywood rod, but I figured I would get it next time. Hopefully soon. I will need 2 new reels first.
