Smile FishingTN Summer Gathering 2013

On Saturday June 29th we will have the Fishing TN Gathering, at Sanders Ferry Park, shelter #6 in Hendersonville starting at 10/10:30am, and lasting until everyone is sick and tired of everyone else's lies, errr uh I mean fishing stories.

This is just going to be a get together of like-minded people who have the same interests of fishing, fellowship, and fishy stories, even if you don’t fish and would like to meet some people and ask questions come on out, but sorry for the disappointment guys no tournament this year. The only requirement is just to be a member of the Fishing TN family, you don’t even have to contribute, just have a registered username, children, and partners of members need not apply. You don’t even have to agree with members who think drum are a game fish, or don’t believe in catch and release.
I need volunteers for food, drinks, and food preparation. This will be an all-day event from around 1100am-whenever. If you would like to bring games like horse shoes, corn hole, or washers feel free to, but neither FishingTN, nor any of its affiliates will be responsible for any injuries you may incur, so please stretch properly. This will be a family friendly gathering and all of the Fishing TN community is welcome no matter your age, race, gender, or fishing style.
Still needing an attendance list.
An attendance list will be the second post of this thread, and will be updated with who is bringing what. If you would like to bring something post it up, I don’t expect everyone to bring enough of one thing to supply 30 people unless you are bringing cups, paper plates, plastic ware, or something that is fairly inexpensive like that, I don’t expect anyone to bring 30 Prime Ribs though it would be nice.

Sounds like a good option. I'm not a resident so shelter rental would be $55 for the day, it's $40 for resident.

Reservations need to be made as soon as possible, if it will be held here.

I'm in. I'll have my fishing kayak within a few weeks and can't wait to meet some fellow 'yakers.

I'll contribute something, just let me know what's needed. Also, sign me up for some of those crappie fillets please

Thanks guys and gals.

No date has been set but I did delete July 6th due to Holiday weekend and many may be traveling so it's between June 29th and July 13th

No location has been set, but Sanders Ferry Park was suggested, but I'm not a resident.

Origional post updated and date set June 29th.
Looking for a location, if you want to assist in helping with a location that would be grateful. A recommendation of Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville was made. If there is interest in this please assist in making reservations, but before making reservations please contact me, or lets get a yea, or nay from others. This needs to be a resident of the area.

I can make that. I don't care about location. I will take photos and bring something. I can bring condiments and something else.
