Default Crappie 4/9

Had a quick trip to the crappie hole and it was a fun day minus the wind. Wind is beneficial for the TM/CM under a float but not when your anchor don't have enough stick to keep in one place.

Fished for 2hrs, caught 15 or so and brought 8 home to be cleaned. The newly made rod was a lot of fun as well but don't think I gained any casting distance. Will have to continue testing it out maybe on a less windy day. The biggest today was 12 inches and the rest 10-10.5 inches. The white/chart & black/chart Trout Magnets worked as well as the Killer Klatt & black/chart Crappie Magnets.

Fishing....getting....GOOD.

where i have been catching them bison will only catch gills even on same structure as crappie. Blk/chartruse takes more of the crappie for some reason.

Yep, bison and purple redemption are my two faves by far. I got my purple redemption straight from the trout magnet website.

I ordered them like Mike. Since your in Portland, I'd order them too. Even if Bass Pro has that color in stock for $5.95 (shipping) you can't drive down then back in gas cost. Plus, you can get as many of any color from the web.
