Default Saturday night fishing 4/6

Went out and played with the submersible hoping to catch a few fish. Nothing came to the light all night long but then again it was a learning trip more for once summer arrives.

Ended up casting to the banks and catching few small gills, few short crappie, a white bass, yellow bass and this 14 1/2" largemouth all on a black trout magnet with 2lb test line on a UL.

Fun and nice night out but did get a little windy/cool.

Thanks, still amazes me catching bluegills at night. All this time I have thought they are only sight feeders and that would take night bite away. But on two different nights with no moon in the sky I have caught them among other nights with some moon.

No. Nothing at all. Well unless you count the white bass that got wrapped in the chord as I was reeling it in. He kinda had to. That fish was a blast on 2lb test.
