Default Skinny Water Trip

4/5/13
I had the Thixtons out with me on the river today and we had a great time. Aidan was the crappie king today catching some nice slabs. We fished Tuffys and Creekminnows catching a mixed bag of fish. The clear sky and super clear water made us fight for every bite. Long cast upstream were the best bet for the bass and fishing tight to cover in 7 to 8 ft. depths for the crappie. It is a blast to see those big crappie and bass in the clear water as they try there best to wrap your line around any and all the structure. Crappie that live in the current all their lives seem to fight so much better than reservoir crappie, making each fish twice the fun!! With this warm weather the streams will just get better and better. Give me a shout if you would like to learn more about wading and fishing our Middle TN Streams. Mike Dial 615-556-0281
