Default Found a honey hole

I had been told that the private lake behind my house had crappie in it but after getting permission last year to fish it I had never caught one, well I found them the other day, stopping after I had 20, didn't want to over do it, then I tried bass fishing a pulling a 5.6 pounder out, put it back though.

Awesome, They must manage the lake very well. I have fished some private lakes with crappie in them and they never got to a good size. But they were not managed. I have gotten permission to fish one i have wanted to fish for 20 years and hope to put the canoe on it in a few weeks.
I grew up fishing a 3.5 acre lake and have caught my biggest shellcracker and lots of 5 pound plus bass over he years.I love those small bodies of water.
