Default Thanks where it's due

I met TK today and he was an amazing help! If not for him, I'm really not sure what would have happened to my new prop, but it wouldn't have been good. Also, thanks for the great deal on the seats. They are already painted and set up ready to go.

Again, thank you and it was a pleasure to get to meet you!

Smile I am here to help ...<'TK><

Thanks, but I am here to help ... Josh ordered a prop that used a Composite insert instead of a Rubber hub ... totally different animal ... Now I see what his confusion was ...

Besides my other professional career with Nissan (Area Manager in Maintenance in the Stamping Plant for 21 years, plus 13 years with TVA before that in Instrumentation and climbing the stacks at Gallatin Steam Plant ) I have over 50 years in the marine/tourney/ Guiding /commercial fishing business ... I am tired of seeing the Local boat dealers taking advantage of people ... (See past post, Boat Locker) ..

Josh bought a prop from IBOATS ... The values was in line ... But it was an Composite insert instead of a conventual rubber hub ... Their thinking is it would be cheaper to buy one of their inserts and replace instead of having a prop rehubed ... Problem here is if this prop took such a blow to wipe out the insert ...the prop blades would be wasted ...

Now we are talking Aluminum props here ... I don't think or hope not... that they do not offer this prop in Stainless with the inserts ... Bad idea .. ...

Folks if you need a new prop ... please contact me ... I can save you $$$ new or used ... over the boat dealers list price ...

I can buy at cost ... Will I make a few $ ... Yes ... Will I save you more $$$$ Yes ...

I am also a Sierra dealer ... And also can buy all Bombardier (OMC) and Merc parts Direct ... I can save you money on parts ... I AM TIRED OF MY MEMBERS BEING RIPPED OFF !!!!

I am not trying to advertise the Oldoutboardbarn ...To be honest I have more work and back logs that I want to do with my restorations ... I WANT TO GO FISHING !!! but ordering parts I would be glad to help the members out with ... Just don't spread it around ... <'TK><
