Default White bass fishing 3-13-13

We had a nice day of fishing today. 20plus white bass and some monster yellow bass and one monster crappie. I don't usually keep fish but my freezer is empty
I'm looking forward to eating these fish.

Nicely done!! I went out today on Old Hickory early with Merv to troll for walleye. After about an hour of trolling/freezing and not one fish, that got boring quick so we decided to search for white bass. We went into some feeder creeks and found them. We each kept several and threw back several smaller ones. They're a lot of fun on 4lb test and they taste great! Make sure you remove the bloodline from the meat!

Nice catch! I'm taking a day leave tomorrow and hopefully the Cumberland won't still look like chocolate milk with a mixture of floating trees by then.

That's what it looked like for us yesterday and today the generation is supposed to be the same so I'd expect the same water.

Ack! I was hoping that after 5 days, the river would have settled down quite a bit. I'm still rolling out bright and early though (ok, not THAT early)...if it's too bad, I can always fish the big lagoon at the marina and if it looks halfway ok, I'm going to hit the main river. I'll have to remember to take my anchor just in case
