Default Ackers lake..anybody fished it

I was going a little google scouting, for kayak places to fish, and I noticed outside of laguardo is Ackers Lake. google satellite view doesnt show any ramps or access points, but it's listed as a public lake...has anyone fished it, and would a kayaker have a hard time getting in there?

Are you talking about the water on the other side of the road from Laguardo access?

No, its clearly labled ackers lake, turn off satellite, to just map where you can see blue for water, scroll back towards gallatin from laguardo, towards the boy scout area. Id like to know how to access it, its pretty big on the map!

Never new there was a lake there. I googled and sure enough there it is. I'd bet it's surrounded by private land.

I asked a friend who lives near the lake to check it out. He says it is very large and has "NO TRESPASSING" signs every 20 ft.

It's on the Boxwell scout reservation. Land belongs to the Scouts.

There is a big lake on the Boxwell reservation 30 plus years ago they used it to raise largemouth not sure where they went(maybe to the lake) but I rememeber that much. I got to fish it way back in my scouting days and it was loaded with 1.5 pounders.
