Default JPP Info

I am looking to expand where I fish. Thinking of heading to JPP. Can someone give me info on a good ramp to put in at? Not looking for anyones secret spots. Would like to try for some crappie. I would be coming from the north. ( Portland )

Thank you

Jefferson Springs right outside of Smyrna is really good. That will put you in the old river channel and there is a lot of good crappie fishing around there. Stay in the channel and look for brush. People have sunk a ton of it around there. Watch your graph.

I like to put in at Long Hunter off of Gibson Pike outside of Mt. Juliet. exit 226 on rte 40.

Also, Fate Sanders Marina is good to launch, as they have bait for sale too.

Lamar hill is another good area. The ramp is never crowded and the are 2 large TWRA stake beds right off the river Chanel.

Sent from my Droid Bionic complete with typos and sarcasm.

Long Hunter SP will put you in the middle of the lake and is located off of Hobson Pike. The ramp is patrolled regualarly by park rangers. Lot of parking, steep ramp, two small piers.

Fate Sanders will put you in the upper third of the lake. Good ramp, restaurant, loads of parking, can be busy during tournaments, bait, fishing tackle, gas, etc.

Four Corners is between Fate Sanders and Long Hunter. $3.00 to park, limited parking, good ramp, restaurant.

Lamar Hill is an isolated ramp slightly upstream from Fate Sanders. Can be a bad place to leave your vehicle. Not much traffic. Good ramp.

Jefferson Springs will put you at the upper end of the lake. Fair amount of traffic. Patrolled by Smyrna PD. Good ramp with plenty of parking. Picnic area. Restrooms open spring thru fall.

There are several other ramps on Priest. If you need any info on the ramps or other Priest related items PM me.
