Default The trout hit good this afternoon.

Caught these in an hour and half. Some on TM (the biggest one) and some on powerbait.

I like the winter trout stocking program.

Yes, Travis it came from were you are thinking. Someone had it hooked before me. It had a bait keeper hook still stunk in its jaw with about 10 inches of what looked like 8 - 10 lb. line. I checked out what it had been eating. It had 14 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch minnows in its belly. I guess that is why it hit my white TM. What really made it nice was it finished out my limit.

Out of curiosity have you seen any others like that one in there?

Good to know what it had been eating as I was heading on the right path for taking it on the flyrod. The last week it was all little bugs then the next trip switch over to bigger bugs and then Tuesday this week used small streamer flies about 3/4 inch long but visibility was bad in the water. It was fishing blind but I did catch a few.

Nice job on the limit. This current stocking year has been the first that I really caught fish up there. If you see me up there give me a shout next time. During the week I will have my little sidekick (who decided to wet wade this week causing a quick exit..LOL)

I had not seen any that size until I caught that one. I have fished up there over the last three years and I think I have finally got them dialed in. I'll say hey if I see you. You do the same.
