Default Communism, Alive & Well??

Figured some on here might appreciate my most recent Facebook post.

"In person, via e-mail, via telephone and via social media, thousands of people and politicians have fervently opposed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plan to block off Cumberland River tailwaters from fishermen. To my knowledge absolutely no one has expressed support. Yet in true Stalinist fashion, the Army Corps of Engineers blindly continues down its path to supposedly "protect the citizens from themselves." And here we thought Communism didn't exist anymore. "

I wished we had a 'Like" button like on Facebook. Consider this a 'Like".

I use the like button all the time on FaceBook. It would be nice to have one here too.

Ain't that the truth Rick, thanks for sharing. It seems to be getting worse and worse through all forms of government.

I have a good freind, Bill, retired from the Marines, we went to lunch the other day and the COE topic came up. He pointed out that this CO most likely came out of some liberal college and has had it ingraved into his thought process that the general public can't make good decisions for themselves, the Government has to do it for them.
Bill decided to retire after Desert Storm because the CO's were more concerned about being politically correct than the lives of the soldiers in the field. He is proud of his service to our country and is a Marine through and through.
Bill's concern is that as an American Citizen we can't concieve our millitary ever turning on its own people, what general in his right mind would do such a thing! If this is what type leadership you have in the COE then you probably have it in all branchs of the military.
Now add to the scenario, the assault on the second ammendment, lets take the guns from the the general public, under the guise of we need to save the children. Then the memo leaked out about using drones on Americans who present a threat of violence to the general public. Now it says with Al Qaeda ties but it could as easly say Tea party, christians ect. what ever the liberal establishment sees as a threat.
I know I sound like I'm way out there, and to be honest I would rather write about the crappie I caught if I had the chance to go. Maybe thats why I'm wound up, GOT to do some fishing!!!!!
Have a great day all!
