That was a good day for sure. Do you catch or buy your bait? Shad or creek chubs?

Old sailor should be arrested for cruel and unusual punishment of those that have to work during the week. Killing me seeing those fish And then looking at that stack of paperwork on my desk. Good job old sailor. Keep the pics coming. I am a strong man I can take it.

That is amazing, Old Sailor. I went last Saturday after getting skunked on Dale Hollow, and couldn't even pic anything up at the Center Hill Dam.

What a fish!! Did it make the 24" mark? What did you catch it on?
I'll be back in Cookeville next week to finish my last semester at TTU so as usual, whenever I can find a few free hours I'll be in the Caney. One of my goals this year is to land a 24" brown. I don't have a boat so I'll be doing a lot of fishing from the steps during generation trying to get one. Anytime you guys are down there and want to join forces let me know.

Had several around 25 inches. I only use little yellow belly spring lizards.

I'm with you there old sailor. I have been doing what I do since 2001....which is 99% fishing.....LOL. I feel I am the most blessed man on earth. Looking forward to hooking up with you and learning how to hunt...and catch.... those brown giants. Always good to learn from a master.

Old Sailor has taken me under his wing and revealed his secret bait to me. As he said he uses yellow belly lizards. I have attached a picture of them to help you get an idea and know what you are looking for in case you want to catch some. Remember big bait=big brown trout.
