Default How is skip jack bite at gsp

I wanted to take my nephew tomorrow to catch anything .i think he would enjoy catching a skipjack
heard they were tough a few weeks ago .. Has anyone been ?

I was out there yesterday. Found a few but couldn't pattern them. Earlier in the week we did pretty good at the mouth of the channel. Yesterday we got skunked there and moved up closer to the plant. We got a few Skippie's up close to the bank, but then they were gone. Never did get into them again. (although the Crappie were pretty thick. MmmMMMmmm.)

Heard the Skip Jack were fair/good at the Cumberland plant.

Found a lot of white bass in my last several runs. Got a newbie onto a bunch of them Saturday. Not many skipjack..,

Skipjacks were noshows today. White bass were there on super small crankbaits and silver spinners.

Didn't catch any yesterday but on Sunday i caught a few. It was white bass and kitties yesterday.
