Default Caney Yesterday

Fished dam to happy hollow 6 to 11am then trailered to bettys island an fished till 4pm. Three small spots at dam and two small browns at lancaster (15 to 18 inches). Did catch 3 nice browns downriver (23-24 inches) However all browns appeared to be post spawn and super skinny! A slow day but a nice one. On a high note I was the only idiot on the river and there was a bald eagle at happy hollow that was a man among men. He looked like he could fly away with about anything he chose to dine on.

Sounds like a great day all the way around... caught fish, river to yourself and capped it with the resident eagle sighting.

There has been a pair that has raised at least one that I know of.

Glad to see the fish may be done... now fishing should get better as winter goes on.

Sounds like a GREAT day to me. Sure beats working. I hope we get some rain soon where you dont have to chase the water. I do see where they are starting to run 2 generators a little.

Nothing like a great day of fishing. Can't wait to get back out myself and fishing again.

Regards
