I'm a friend of Pete's. I told him I'd keep him updated on temperate bass reports, tell him I said hi and that I promise I'll go by soon.

I like the variety of having several fly shops close to home, but it does seem like a risky business venture to me. For a city the size of Nashville, we've almost got a glut of fly shops. There's Fly South, and Cumberland Transit, and Game Fair, and the fly shop at Bass Pro. I hope we have enough fly fishers in Nashville to support a fifth fly shop, but I just don't know.

I was thinking the same thing.

Is it already open? I am in need of some more flies.

I just got back from Destin. I visited the Orvis shop and the guy that helped me said that he's transferring to the new Nashville store when it opens.

Soon there will be six...
