Default Looking for skip jacks on old hickory

Has anyone seen any skip jacks in the last week on old hickory ... There are some at the steam plant already but they are few and far in between ,sometimes they will be in pockets or in the backs of creeks, just need a few to fish with

I see we are getting a big goose egg on our posts. Does that mean no one else is Striper hunting?

I saw 3 guys from Indiana the other day at the ramp at Cairo cleaning a stripper that was 25#. " he said" looked as long as leg. Said they caught the bait with a net at the tunnel that runs under the road there. Said they make the trip once a year for about 4 days for stripper.

They have plenty of smallmouth in IN too but many of them head to Dale Hollow to try for Smallmouth. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Take that from an old fisherman. Kentucky Laker for crappie and Reelfoot for bluegill.

My wife and I saw those guys too on Saturday when we were coming in. He said they caught the stripers in the main channel. I was out in the main channel and I didn't see their boat all day. Wonder where they were talking about?
