I got up to the mountains last weekend with Mike Anderson to do a little REAL trout fishing - wild fish away from the tailwaters. Hard work and tough trails, but fish were caught and good time was had by all. Mike had all the good cameras (and all the photographic talent), but I snapped a few pictures from my phone along the way to capture the moment. Now if only they made Cell Phone Photoshop so I could do a little editing to sharpen up the color...
The view 100 yards from our campsite. Beats working.
Wild mountain rainbow.
Copperhead in the trail.
Brook trout water.
There's something about the mountain rivers that just can't be duplicated anywhere else. There are easier places to fish, but it's just not the same. I'm going back this weekend for more. Can't wait to be back on the water tomorrow morning.
