Question Recent reports on jpp or old hick

Trying to narrow down my options for this weekend. Has anyone had any luck below jpp recently and have any whites been seen on O.H. ?

I had a buddy try below JPP on Sunday, he had no hits and saw no action. But as you know, all it takes is one day and they could be there.

Also, when I was on JPP last weekend in the Long Hunter area by the main channel over 65ft, there was HUGE balls of bait sitting at around 15-20 ft. And there were several large arcs under the bait, assuming hybrids. But they never pushed the bait to the surface and we were geared for crappie. But something maybe to try.

You could come walk around Randor Lake with us and wonder with me how big the bass are in there.

I fished JPP from my yak on Sunday and only caught one Largemouth that went just over 14". I figured it would be a tough day with the front that had recently passed through but I expected to do better. I saw a few fish busting shad on top but it was very sporadic and they didn't want what I was throwing. I checked tonight and the lake is now just below summer pool and the floodgates on the dam are still open. This would seem to indicate that they are bringing it down to winter pool although slowly. I've heard that it has been hit or miss on JPP in the last week.
