Default Oh 10/19/12

We fished from 1 to 6 today and did not have a lot of luck. We caught about 12 or 15 bass but none were keepers. The fish we found were really shallow. We did not catch a fish in more than 4 feet of water. There was some surface activity but not as much as I would have expected.

Went yesterday, 10/22 and had the same experience as hogdawg. Lots of 1.5" shad minnows in the back half of the creeks and coves with some very sporadic action with small bass busting them. I expected to find good concentrations of white bass but no luck. Water temp 64-65 at mid day.

I walked the bank of Station Camp Creek last weekend, a small back creek of Old Hickory and saw the same thing. All over the place small minnows being busted up. I didn't have any fishing gear with me, I was just taking a break from studying. Not sure if it was white bass or not busting them up but I suspected it was.
