Default Couple hours of Trout Magnet fishing.

Took the lil one to Old Hickory and fished under a nice bridge for shade. After fishing for 2 hrs (including loading/unloading boat) we ended up with 32 gills and a couple warmouth mixed in. Although some were keepers, they all went in the live well to hold someone's attention a little longer then released...

All caught on either Bison, Bulldog or Brown. No floats just twitching or tightlining and letting it swing back towards the boat.

It was and I am lucky to have a couple little ones that love fishing.

They wanted to camp last night but since there was rain coming I put the tent in the living room. My 2 & 4 year old "camped" all night no problem.

What a great time. Ok let's be honest, who still doesn't pitch the ole tent in the living room and have a little camp over? Just be careful with the camp fire. Lol.

I am so glad they stay in there together now. The last time I stayed over night with them on the wood floors I could hardly walk the next day..LOL

This was good primer for next weekend at Fall Creek Falls.

Jeff Little, is one of my teamates for Hook1 he is from Maryland. A couple weekends ago he took his two boys on a river camping trip and wrote about it. It was a great write up and it brought back a lot of memories of my dad and I camping on the river out of our 15' canoe. I sure miss those days. I'm sure you and your little ones make any memories on the water, and they will remember these times with you forever. It's been well over 20years since I have camped with my dad, but I still remember vividly.

I did a lot of camping at Fall Creek Falls when my children were young. Great place for family bonding and fishing.

That's great, Travis, good on you. I wish I had spent more time fishing with my daughter when she was young. I did take her but it wasn't as often as I should have and now she's off to college. I do have some great memories and so (hopefully) does she but I do wish we had gone out more than we did. My next task, since I finally have a boat, is to get my wife interested in fishing with me.
