Default Caney Fork at the Dam Tomorrow

Planning to go tomorrow and fish mainly below the dam (as some of you call "The Pond")...they are going to generate from 9a.m. until midnight...will I be able to fish a boat there with one generator going?

Yes you will be able to fish but it will be ruff as they are running the sluice gate also. I would drop down below the campground and start fishing there. Water flattens out there. 1 thought might be to wait until Friday because by then the water will be backed up all the way to the Cumberland and the fish will be more settled into their spots. I look for them to generate non stop for the next 2 weeks so we should have plenty of opportunity to fish with plenty of water. Always be alert and safe when fishing while they are generating. Always plan ahead and wear PFD and have kill switch hooked up. Roy

They will be pushing probably close to 5500 cfs tomorrrow. 3500 gen/ 1750 sluice more than likely.

If you fish it stay away from the left hand side of the Dam (sluice side) unless there is a guy on the motor while you fish.

Generation Forecast

Today/ Thurs/ Friday/ Sat/ Sun
CEHT1 0.2/ 3.4/ 5.3/ 5.3/ 5.3:CENTER HILL
