Remeber they are running a pulse with the generation..an extra 1750 cfs thru the sluice.
Usually water gets to Betty's 3.5 hrs approx and now in 2hrs approx. Same goes for upstream as it will be a lot sooner.
With your yak you can paddle pretty much any where without facing generation current and about any access will have fish as they stock all they way down to Stonewall.
I used to fish the Obey quite a bit and it fishes really well on low water with the Cumberland pulling creating more current in the river. They were running water pretty steady to make up for the lack of water coming from Center Hill to help cool GSP. If the water is up on the Obey its a tough cookie to fish since after Moody's ramp into Peterbend its deep water all the way to the Cumberland even during no generation.
