Nice bass man. Looks like you had fun.

I went by lilly pad lake the other day and it was really needing some rain that we actually got today. Not much but every little bit helps.

The fish that were moving around are hunkered in the pads/grass which means a definite frog bite. I had a good fish blow up over in the corner next to the steep bank but couldn't get him out. May try again in the morning with a big stick and some rope.

I was at stewart creek also. I paddled a very long way to the left all the way to where the lake ended and fished back. I wish I had seen you out there.

Travis I just may give the lilies a shot on sunday. Tomorrow I will be on old hickory around Drakes creek.

If I head over in the morning I will let you know how it goes. I couldn't see back in the end from where we were but I'd guess most are packed in all the slop/grass/pads scattered around.

The water was down enough to where very little if any was going in the spillway yesterday.

I am worried about the deer out there. Hope they are doing OK in this heat. I think all of that new grass might help them though.

Default Pretty fish

Both sets of pictures were great and deepened my fever, but I guess I've turned into a wuss 'cause 100 plus degrees kinda outdoes me.

I fished the mouth of Stewart's Creek Thursday night from about 9:00 until 2:00 (first time at night); we caught a bunch of bass with a couple being being decent - biggest maybe three pounds. Can't wait for a break in the heat!
