Smile The largest Charter boat .. <'TK><

Even though you can't see it I am trolling behind the largest Luxury Liner in the world ... The "Oasis of the Seas" and it has a sister ship the Allure. And While I was waiting for a Great White to Strike ... I decided the best thing to do was run the Zip line ... 125 feet above Deck 6 ... I was on Deck 16 ... The launch pad was above the "O" in the second pic ... Reminded me of my VietNam Duty and my Stack Climbing for TVA for EPA monitoring ... The old joints did not like the landing ... BUT I HAD TO DO IT, just to see if I still could ... LOL !!! By the way the third pic was taken in Dutch St. Martin in the West Indes The Ship on the right is the largest Flag ship of the Carnival Line "Dream" And from my Balcony It looked HUGE until I went ashore ... WOW !!! ... (The Oasis is 1/8 of a mile long, 250 feet wide and 250 feet tall ... Holds 6200 Passangers and 2200 crew... What a charter boat !! <'TK><

Looks like a great trip TK.. These ships are literally Floating Cities...

I have installed equipment on the Freedom class ships, and I thought they were huge..

"Oasis of the Seas" is the largest cruiser on the water I believe.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I have only taken one cruise in my life. That was in Holland and the boat had only 6 couples on it....and the boat was all of maybe 9 feet wide...LOL. It was a great cruise though. tk...I look at those huge ships like I did at the C5A Galaxy and the C17 cargo plane...too big to fly...but when you are ordered to get on you do it. Those new ships are so big one just wonders how they float...LOL. Sounds like you had a ball.

Regards

Well they told us the first day that the average weight gain was 4 to 7 pounds in 7 days ... We were on the road and water for 11 days ... The morning I left home I weighed 209 ... When I arrived back home eleven days later I weighed 217 ... That was 12 days ago and now I am back down to 213 ... A few more to go ...

How is the food!! ... Buffet ... 24/7 ... Formal dining at night ... Breakfast deliverd to your Balcony for the mear extra cost of a tip to the stewart... And the best Coffee in the world !!! Now all the food is inclusive with the ticket ... If you like adult beverages, This is extra ... ... Beer is $4.25 and my double Glenlivet Scotch on the rocks is $14.00 ... Needless to say I only ran in to one passenger out of 6200 that was "Under The Weather" ... ..

This was our fourth Cruise for our 47th Anniversary ... We are already planning for our 50th ... maybe Panama ... <'TK><

Default Cruise food

I gained 7 pounds on our first 5 day cruise and 6 on our second cruise. There is food 24/7 and it is not for someone on a diet!!
You will walk constantly and think you are burning it off but there are just too many calories......think of Thanksgiving Day every day.
