Default Spencer Creek

Went to OH after school today and caught 4 nice bass, the biggest was a 4 pound 11oz LM. Caught again with the KVD 1.5 sexy shad. Temps were 79. All fish were caught in 5 to 8 ft.

Don't pay any attention to a red/gray Sprint bass boat riding around over there.

He's probably just lost.

Travis, come on over, there is lot of good area to fish from 109 out to the river. I've had several good fish over the last few weeks.

I feel like a foul ball in tall weeds. Do you guys launch at Davis Corner ramp? If so, where in the heck do you go from there? I'm not looking to steal any body's honey hole, just don't know where to go.

I don't get to fish much on weekends. Most of my fishing is after the office and with my 9 yr old son. With limited daylight, I don't like to motor out onto the river and travel any distance because I don't like motoring back in the dark with my son in the boat.

Fish both sides of the bank from Davis Corner, go all the wat tothe bridge then fish the other side and follow all the way to the point across from Lagaurdo boat ramp. You can also flip the boat houses all over the creek.

Here's my feeble attempt at MS Paint to show my usual route and where I strike out. LOL! Hope it's viewable.

Is there a lot of boat houses in Spencer? What about grass?

The gathering will be my first time in there...

Lots of little boat houses and private floating docks. Grass, I'm not sure. If you know how to properly read a sonar, I'll meet you down there and you can teach me how to fish my own home water. LOL!
