Default Dyers Creek - 19 Apr

I'm off work for a few days so I drove out to Dyers Creek this morning, hoping to find some crappie but without a boat, I don't think it's going to happen unless I can find where they're hiding. I did manage to catch a few bass and some bluegill though.

On the way back I tried to find Cross Creek but I either didn't make a right turn when I should have, or I didn't drive far enough down 46 to get to the water (the sign on 79 said 4.7 miles to the ramp and I know I drove more than that).
Hmmm...looking at Google Maps, I'm not sure if the north side of Cross Creek is very fishable from shore...looks pretty shallow on that side of the river.

As soon as you turn into Cross Creek from 46, I have seen people catch some good crappie from the small bridge. It is better if there is current coming through there.
