Default JPP Bass

Thinking about taking the day off tomorrow to do some fishing around the Four Corners area. I'm thinking cranks and shaky heads? Any suggestions on lures and depths?

Last time i was there which was last weekend water was very low still haven't released much water in that area.So if i was you probably lots of square bill cranks and topwater in the morning. But i fish from bank so if your in boat will have more options good luck

Spinnerbaits up shallow worked for me last weekend on the lower end of the lake. It was extremely windy which helped the bite. Had to be in the wind to catch them

I went out today and fished down toward the lower end. I caught decent smallie & LM on a topwater Skitter pop (late afternoon). I haven't thrown plastics much, which is out of the norm for me. Crankbaits that have produced have been shallow diver, pearl color (i.e. sexy shad or plain white/pearl).

Water temp was 69 - 71 and water clarity was impressive. I could easily see 3 - 5 ft down with no problem.

I'm with you on that Scott. I could see the blades of my spinnerbait at least 4-5ft down. No exaggeration!
