Question Cross Creeks WMA

What are the fishing reg's for this area? Are any permits other than a fishing license required to fish it? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

The only one with special permits is Cherokee WMA because of Tellico. You would need Tellico-Citico permit there.

But if your talking about Cross Creeks over by Dover its a NWA and would fall under Barkley regs.

I am not familiar with the duck seasons but several areas over there similiar to this one close around/during hunting season.

Thanks Travis. They're open to fishing 3/16-11/14, and they have bowfin. I caught some cypress trout over the weekend while on a camping trip at reelfoot. The biggest one was I caught was around 7 lbs and midtnkayakangler got a 10 lber. Awesome fish, and I really want to catch one on a flyrod.

On the Fish pdf the TWRA done this year I noticed they listed Cumberland as a place bowfin were found. That was the first I had heard of it.

I know those fish will tear the hell out of a spinnerbait.
