I went last weekend and watched the crowd up by the dam wall catching stripers but I did not want to compete elbow to elbow. Every cast net I threw trapped about a dozen threadfin shad of about 4" but I didn't catch anything with them. Don't take sand to the beach, I guess. I was a little further down where the swirling back-flow begins for my strikeout.

I was up there two weeks ago and they still had the walkway blocked off due to the threat of rocks falling. Did they just say screw it and go on down to the wall or where they in a boat

Gonna try Cordell Hull tomorrow, see if I can find any "eyes" or saugies.
I don't care for white bass or stripers too much.
