Default Good days on JPP & Woods

I thought I would mention that I caught 16 today within an hour, but only three were keepers. My dad caught between 20 and 30 on Woods today and had about 10 or so keepers. I caught mine on black/white tube jig around structure in 8 - 12ft of water.

I also bought my first TN U-rig and it works great. There's a guy selling them on ebay out of east TN and it's well built, but more importantly less than 3/8 oz total weight! I put two large swim baits and a blade on the three arms and it still wasn't as heavy as I anticipated. I threw it a few times today but was chasing the crappie. I understand the striper are hitting in the afternoon on JPP and with the weather forecast next week looking as nice as it is I plan on using it!
