If anyone has trouble uploading software let me know I can be of assistant. I also do updates for individuals if you have not got a SD card to do it.

Have you heard of anyone having trouble with their unit after installing this new update? I read on another forum about a guy who installed it, the unit then went dead. He had to send the unit back.
Another guy installed the unit the same day-didn't have any problems with it. Now I'm afraid to install it until I get a little more feed back. My unit is the 998Csi
These are the only two people that I've heard about installing the latest update.

I have Installed the software for 798,898,1197 with not a single problem just ha ent done a 998 yet but shouldnt have any problems their either u can save the software to a different Ss card and I.stall it so that u have your old software if something happens if you have any co.cerns let.me k.ow I can help you

If you have any problem or worst case scenario everything was to go wrong and if you send it back to Humminbird it usually takes more time in shipping , Than in the repair shop.
This is one company that has great customer service!
