Default Been to Nice Mill Dam Smyrna This Week?

Never been there...wondering what the water level and current is like recently and any info on parking, accessibility, etc.

Don't waste your time there. I haven't fished that place in at least five years because it was overrun with mexicans throwing casting nets and keeping everything that wound up in that net. In addition to that, kids throwing rocks and playing in the water, and people drinking and just completely trashing the place. Not a great fishing spot at all unless things have significantly changed in the past 5 years and I am unaware of it...

If you put in the effort, you can find some really good fishing as long as the river level isn't too high.

released trout below the damn this morning i believe. fishing should be good for the next couple of days. for trout anyways. trout bore me though. smallmouth will be up there in a few weeks. live minnows are the ticket at that time.
