TN River Sauger

I got back on the river yesterday. Lost about a dozen sauger jigs....I need to tie up some more.
The water was 49.6 when we got off the water. The water was getting dirty and the current was fast. Lots of limbs and trees floating. It was a tuff day. The river will be blown out soon going into flood stage.
I lost one nice sauger and my partner had two keepers and a couple short fish.
I did catch a flathead cat about 20 to 25 lbs and a blue cat about 4 lbs. We went into a creek and crappie fished for about an hour or two. Caught one at 2.1 lbs and about ten or so short fish.
