Default Dale Hollow Winter Walleye

The Walleye have settled in to their winter haunts and are really putting on weight.

Default DH Walleye

Nice fish it reminds me of younger years when I lived in WI. Can you give us a little information on the technique used?

Hey hotwielen65, what part of WI were you from? I'm from New Holstein, WI, so I grew up fishing walleyes out of Lake Winnebago. I moved to TN 5 years ago because I got a job with the state as a forester.

Default Well done!

Those are some beautiful fish! I'm from
Minnesota originally, and it's great to
see such quality fish here in Tennessee.
I was shocked to learn that the world
record Walleye was taken from Old Hickory!
I'm very excited to try Dale Hollow. It seems
like everyone talks about that lake with such
reverence!

They're right! I drive past 5 lakes and countless miles of rivers to fish there. It's not for everyone. The drive is around 2 hrs from Nashville.
