Default Good Crappie Day!

My son and I caught 20 of these today. We only fished for four and a half hours. Had we started earlier and stayed until dark I am sure we would have limited out. I need a boat...bad!

Alphahawk, I need a fishing partner on some days. I often need a fishing partner. I have a small boat and often fish Nickajack below dam and used to fish Pickwick some before my fish partner passed.

PM me with a phone number and lets at least talk. I will send you my phone number on PM now.

I'm glad you finally started fishing Nickajack. Its an awsome place to fish above or below the dam.If I can get the time I will be making a trip that way soon.I got to put my daughter on a deer this weekend then I will have some time myself. There are a few more places I need to tell you about you should try. There are more of those bays on the lake just like the one your fishing. Its easier to show you than tell you. Get a map of the lake.GOOD JOB!

Thanks for the tips. It is an awesome place.....very scenic also. Will be fishing there for at least 3 more weeks as the Crappie will not be in at my place at Pickwick until then. Plus the Whites and Stripers have left out at Pickwick...but will be back but who knows when. At Pickwick the Spots get very active at end of November and December. I don't know if that holds true at Nickajack or not but will see. That bay I am fishing should be a glory hole come Spring.
