Default Getting Skunked By My Daughter Again!!

I Took My Lil Girl Out To Lake Karen In Mc Minnville. The Water Was Really Warm. No Luck For Me But Maddy Caught A Few Like This One.

No, actually I grew up in Illinois. I fished mostly ponds and small lakes. My father was an oilwell inspector so he knew alot of land owners and they let him fish in their ponds. I've been here since 97' and havent done alot of fishing till recently. I really don't know a lot of places to fish. Now that my kids are getting older and they are asking me " can we go fishin tonight daddy" i am looking around for more places to go. Plus i gotta find a few places for me to catch some my EGO is taking a beating catching fewer fish than my 7 yr old girl. Anyone else around wants to get together and chat about the best bait to use "WHERE" lol just let me know!!

Check out Bedford Lake. It's a TWRA Lake and has a good population of bluegill, shellcrackers, and catfish. You don't want to miss it in late May, early june. The fishing picked up after they got rid of the gator...
